nice job on the hair, but the rest needs work. The folds on the jacket and pants seem misplaced and a little too uniform. I suppose the biggest thing that detracts from the image is proportions of the body and the position it's in. The upper body seems too short and that position just looks way too awkward. Your lighting and use of color are top notch, but the logistical issues such as body proportion, and pose detract from the overall effect. _________________

thanks for the replies! =D Yeah, I've gotten really bad at shading cloth. I've been drawing a character with metal armor pretty much constantly for a while now....so I forgot how to shade cloth. I don't think the "ribs" in the jacket and pants came across either, oh well. _________________ -Pigeon |
