Chris-Mayernik - Thank you, I'm glad that you liked. Nice cityscape

spooge demon - Thank you! Frazetta had a great influence on my work but now a days I'm trying to get away from that kind of composition. (too heroic posed...)
This forum and all the work and discussion posted here are of great inspiration to keep searching...
Meanwhile an watercolor...

everybody goes artrage, i go photoshop, go figure. i can understand why it's also loved as a paint program. but I confess I had to go back to painter to add 2 strokes to "finish" it.
spooge, i felt what you said about artrage and the program "showing up" much more than the subject...scary to realise how I link my stuff to the old painter. gotta break that feeling.

Know what you guys (above) mean about artrage, but I think artrage is good in that sense that it hard to do details, so I only do real fast things. This one took about 15 min. I always seem to end up spending an hour or so in photoshop.

Anyone know if there has ever been (/ongoing) any attempt to record the "history" of digital art? Seeing how it will probably play a significant role in future art history it should have atleast been started.. Anyone know of anything on the subject? It would be an interesting read.

I was going for something Mon:ish.
Unfortunately I went for it in pchat.

Mitsui: Nice robot.
DangerousLlama: Thats a cool design for a robot. I'm going to try something like that soon.
spooge: Wow, you work fast. I can't wait till I can work as fast as you. Might take 20 years but I look forward to it.
Fiend: Cool colors and lighting. I like that orange a lot.

I created 5 custom brushes for this painting. I used only two layers, one for the stuff completed, and another for sections I was still working on.

Time it took: 2 hours 40 minutes
Program used : photoshop 7

Chris-Mayernik you are very well trained in distributing 'visual frequencies'.
Thats a lesson apart imho
