Mitsui, ten - great work
Sparth, zlu - still impressed that you can do that with Artrage
Kooo - ahhh - render it + more gore
No gore here, just a long neck

Here's my first post in speedpainting, certainly not my first attempt.
This one's the first work that I managed to hold my urge to do details and finish in time to be called a 'speedpaint'

Spooge said that shape that relies on form is important. I tried to see shapes in the reference photograph and thought about the form of the mountaind as I drew.

Do you think I have the right idea?

since artrage is quite popular these days, i decided to give it another try but i still get that annoying bug with dual screen setup (cursor is waaay off the location of the actual drawing point). Is there a workaround for that ? sometimes it magically gets in the right place for some time but I can't manage to find the good step-by-step procedure to make it happen again.

@ spooge: i just wanted to say thanks for the hint on the sargent book you gave me a couple months ago, was a really good read. i thought about emailing you, but considering the amount of mail you complain about i decided not to

@ hpx: had the same problem. in windows just switch off the second monitor in the menu you get when you right-click the desktop (i got the nazi version of win2k so i dont know the right caption), restart artrage, then it should work
