oops long time no post
Burnout, that image with the girl and the cool earings !!!
Kenchan, thanks, really like your series. I'll definitly try my "dead" hand ( that would be right for me ) to draw, next time. sound like fun and might even prove usefull.
I'm not really surprised about the lack of "wine" break, actually... Smile
Meaty Ogre : glad to inspire ; please keep on posting.
some drawings from life (2-3mn) that I digitally reworked lately, pretty quickly too - just experimentations - I really went overboard with some, but i though i might as well show these because i don't know what to think of the result.

hi all. been busy and therefore absent for a while, but I still have time to lurk and there are some beautiful drawings here.

Beat, love the experiments, I must try the same.
Kenchan, beautiful gestures.
Numb, just plain nice.
To much good stuff to name. but Cpt Fred, burnout, sheff, and others, very nice.

Here are a little fodder to keep the thread moving. The first, a pencil drawing. The second is a longer charcoal study still in progress. I have the basic tones blocked in getting ready to add some details. blah.

bumping the thread again
deepsea : I need to do some more formal studies, too.
Xia : some of these have a very " japanese ukyo-e" flavor IMHO. you ever draw with ink and brushes? the lastones in 216, 217, the first one in 214, nice!

Pringle>> Nice!!!

Beat>> U r the line master! Ink and brush? Nope, but I used to do many gestures with fake disposible brush Tombo (they are water base). I guess it may have transfered over to graphite. More!!! Shocked

Doodoodoo...Don't know what I'm doing...

After seeing how quickly you guys can do these drawings, I feel like a slug. Embarassed These are all about 45 minute drawings (last two are an hour, I think).

Crits greatly appreciated!

Your second one is really nice, and you seem to have a good sense of form. Not crit from me, but I am suggesting the more you do the better and the faster you will get. Just keep doing it like regularly like taking shower...until it become so natural that you don't have to think about it when you put down the line.
