Looking good NeFF. Very nice details and the overall theme is well realised.
A few things spring to mind though.
- The picture is quite busy. Try looking at it with eyes half-closed. There's a large number of bright intense areas all competing. Sometimes good when doing a pic to think about leading the viewer's eye across the picture. When it's very busy across the picture, it can be hard to know what to pick up on first.
- Depth. The scale of the pixies is quite hard to make out at first glance and it's not immediately obvious (to me, perhaps) that the shelf is quite close to us.
- Perspective. Not my area but the angles in the scene are confusing me a bit.
That said, the detail is lovely. Also, I like the effect on the wings. The pic has a good atmosphere too. |

I like the overall feel of the image; however, you have two focus points (the fairies on the shelf and the person reading). Maybe try having only one focus point, and I would suggest that you use the person reading (maybe make the fairies darker?). Well, just a suggestion, you know more about art than me, I'm sure . _________________ Her eyes were cold and harsh....which made them hard to chew. |

yea, i agree with what everybody else said.
I think it would be cool if there was one of the fairys lighting up the book where he is reading it. |
