Dawi and XIA, thanks a million.
Here's Beowulf and Grendel fighting in Heorot. A shambles. I thought I'd post it here, to have that confirmed.
Pud'
PS: feel free to overpaint/crit this one.

dig that pilot! If only I were a bar of soap
starglider, use bigger brushes, simplify
Ron, if I remember, those last ones started as pencil doodldes in a desperate attempt to keep them from looking like the image below.

Spooge, that's excellent. Rough, but it works.
Starglider, I really liked your pic so I made this overpaint. I just added all that light and dark separation nonsense to it. Just about anyone could have pulled it off better than this..

thanks cake-eye, 'pud.
interviews were okay i reckon. Will find out in two weeks.
cleaning the patio became the first 'art' I've done in a while now.
It's not so easy as you might imagine!

barret, like the character dessigns/drawings. i didn't know you could draw character designs as well as you could space ships and suchlike!
mon, I like that. It's more of a complete scene than you more 'studio' like paintings, and really nice for it. I like the dappled light perspectived onto the building roof. Looks convincing and 3d. the scene is somehow eloquent and descriptive, whilst uncomplicated and minimal, it's cool! |

XIA, Dawi - thanks alot
Barrett - the pilot is sweet, the pose - very evocative.
Mon - the latest one, the house in the glade, very assured and atmospheric. btw your tutorial was very interesting and useful - food for thought for this hack : -
Zhu - your new watercolor ones are fine and dandy, thought the last one is a tad 80's in terms of the color scheme - i still like it though.
Spooge - your site makes my eyes bleed..................but in a good way.
if it wasnt for you i'd still be spending weeks on each piece.........thanks for that
heres some scrawl.
