Painting! (no idea)

Spooge, I'm still totally in love with that one. the figure is just beautiful! And with the sea it's just wonderful.

matt: I'm not the one to take advice from since I'm no better than you myself (see above), but I reckon you should work on the bigger shapes, before adding lips and nostrils, even before looking at hands etc. stick with them as long as possible until they are as good as you can get them.maybe. *shrug*

freebooter: awesome drawing, again!

thanks for the comments on the last pic.

wasssup, i guess the "non-design-related aspects" you are talking about are the main reason why i quit architecture. it's nice to have your feedback on that. i guess the whole paperless/virtual architecture stuff is slowly killing architecture. nice projects and drawings sustained by high-level theories but bad buildings (or at least disappointing) when they are actually built. it seems like today's 'high-end' architecture is more about magazines and preaching than building. anyway, same old rant from me on that subject...

let's get back to the topic

hardcore>> I think the definition of "architecture" is becomming unclearere and unclearer,or to say, broader? I don't have any problem with all those fancy concepts with the obscurest describtions,I guess that shows how solicitous the desire
of nowaday architects is,to find a "new way" to build the world. But I've got an obstinate head that doesn't allow me to keep up with them.To me,architecture is architecture,it has to be built eventually,in whatever form.I thought follow-the-function could never be wrong, but as you said,it's all about show-business today, eyecandies cheat.AA-School is not a good model for all,I remember spooge once talked about the ID program at Art Centre, something similar. Thanks for sharing thoughts bud, rock on!

dougbot>> I really love your drawings
spooge>> do you write poetries? I bet you do...
ax-hv>> the boat is nice, but I think there're some figure issues with the pirates

I can draw cars with reflections on the floor like wassup now, cuz I'm an ID student! Ho .. ho .. sigh. Razz Now I just need to figure out the proportions of height/width/length of average cars .. then I can start drawing.
