I'm making a new picture and I don't want to make any of the same mistakes that i ussualy might make. I have a good idea of what alot of my problems are.
The top one is recent, the others are about 3 or 4 months old.
(mouse sketch)
Any paintovers or anything would be very helpful to me. I won't get offended by anything, i'm only 16 so I'm proud of myself anyways
(you might have to refresh the page to see some of the pictures, i don't know why it wasn't working...) |

Which one of these do you want crits on? It's much easier to crit one piece. Looking at these as a group all I can really tell you is to work on the basics, and learn proper anatomy. Anime is fun, but if you don't learn how real people are shaped, and how to accurately convey that, then you'll have a much harder time making decent anime. |

well i like the head in the first one, the overall image of the third one, and the sketchiness of that last one. also i kinda like the second one, though i think you should try redoing it on a much larger scale and having another go at the anatomy. i thought the anatomy on the third image was quite nice really (but then lets not get into MY anatomy!! ), you shaded it anime style so if its anime proportions etc it fits either way. i think for the third image the top half of the character could have been larger to give a better effect of the camera angel etc. on the second one the character looks a little flat, not to mention skinny etc, but you can probably already see all that yourself. i just say try redoing some of them in a different style/way and work on the anatomy of the second one.
hope that helps at all. |
