Anyone know why my IE tries to save a lot of images as "untitled.bmp" even when they're jpgs?

spooge: do you use any kind of ref for those armour/samurai/etc pics or
do you just make 'em up? Or have you just browsed and studied thru thousands of armour images
or just painted millions and zillions of them so that you know what
an armour should look from every angle imaginable?

ashamed to post, a quick sketch of my friend:

Your cache is full. Empty it, or increase IE's disk space limit.

Either:
- Your cache is full (as Balistic said). Most likely your case.
- Sometimes lazy bum artists write their links with no extension (http://www.url.com/image, instead of image.jpg); IE shows the picture fine, but you can't save it properly, you then have to copy/paste the full link.
- Some recent software can save jpgs in CMYK format instead of RGB format. IE shows the picture fine again, but can't save it properly.

hope that helps

i cannot post without a picture, then:

Pierre, Pringle: you guys are the best!!!!!!
I miss see... Razz

My 0.0001cents:

bad pic in bad size... Crying or Very sad
Embarassed

You didn't see my last pic so you haven't read the question I posted Razz
To all of you:
Do you think more texture brings more life to it? Makes it feel realistic?
Because everything has a texture but it can be achieved, for instance, with just certain use of levels... Could you please give your opinion on this?
Thanks Wink

I think its a matter of taste. Excelled artists can make both astonishing and not that good ones like me can and possibly will make them all a mess ... Smile

like this:
I also am pretty new to this CG painting thingo..

Edit: Oh and also it is a matter of aims. Some will need texturing and some wont. Just check wassups last one. Check Pierre's last one.. Hardly any textures. But lotsa talent and knowledge instead Wink

good work everyone, amazing works lately me bows.

pierre, sorry for me snooping around your archives but as I said earlier me loves your stuff, good one that latest. Smile

from me big sketchbook and this was scanned in six pieces hence the bad scan quality.
Any over-paints are always welcomed, I for myself has been experimenting a bit with acrylics lately and I am trying to get realism in my pieces but I guess I am years away from achieving it, unless I use ref that is.

Great Spooge, i love rusty armors! More of em!.

Nice mood and colours Wasssup, i just think some hard edges would spice up the look.

pierre, very cool! The mood and depth is great, just the reflections aren't very ehm stunning.

Quick sketch done...
I liked it so i invested about 16 hours to make a midrez Image, i will post later.

cool, idiran. And others, of course.

Acrylic gives you get like 2 seconds before the paint dries, and then you lost your opportunity for smooth transitions. At least, that's a novice's take on it. Should oil be 'easier' in this respect? And I just realised how badly cropped this is, not to mention lopsided of head
