It's simply AMAZING - You won't believe it.
That's the best computer animation for a game I have ever seen.
Do not miss it!!!! WATCH!!!

It's pretty damn cool... I saw it on CGTalk aswell. There are a couple of things that bother me though. I hate the warrior's little noises of exertion, they are far too pansy. Also, maybe I just don't know the story behind it but some of the stunts were a bit ridiculous aswell. Ah well, overall it was pretty stunning though. |

cuz it is Jean Reno from the professional.
Also i believe this is history in the making. Ive never seen anywere else in a game cinema where the main character actually uses his powers from the game in practical ways. geniusness. i how it wins some awards, like siggraph(is that how you spell it?) |

That was UNREAL!!!!
When I see stuff like that it makes me even more sure that in another ten years we'll be sitting down to watch a movie with WHATEVER actors we want, be able to change the story to our liking, etc, etc.
I'll be casting myself with Kate Beckinsale every time.
Imagine, in ten years George Lucas will no longer have any obligation to apologize for the Phantom Menace, as we will be able to take out whatever we want. |

phantom menace!?
you mean Attack of the Clones, cuz it was way worse?
at least the fighting in Phantom was way tricked out than the anikin/dooku fight. Horrible. |

I hardly noticed because I was still so damn excited about the Storm Trooper/Droid battle. Fun fun fun! |

whoa, thats phenomenal. lets not talk about the story, but visually its one of the most impressive cinematrical trailers for a game ive ever seen.
The hair is great and i love the design of the characters...! |

You know Teeb, you really touched on something there.
Final Fantasy had the possibility of being one of the most exciting movies ever made. Think about it- It really isn't much more expensive to do an action scene in CGI than a dialogue scene, is it? Why didn't FF have action to the Nth degree, and ditch the stupid "Gaia" story?
Maybe it's just me(well, probably it IS just me). |
