I think it was Prometheus|ANJ who did the original speedpaint.
This is absolutely awesome. I had to take a second glance to figure out whether it was a painting or a render. Awesome work.
On another note, I can't help but imagine that thingy that Christopher Lloyd kills in StarTrek III... |

Wow, looks great! Yeah, it was my speed painting. This was a most pleasant surprise.
It looks like the panties are a bit too gloss (plastic). Most panties have two seams in the croth too. I could see a drop of water accumulating (barely) on the top center claw (leftmost claw). _________________ Yak! |

This is so great! Goes right into my inspiration collection.
I love the atmosphere and the surfaces. _________________ Fear my SKETCH-FU!(tm) style |

helltaxi : are bengal's bodyguard? Don't worry he is a big boy and is well aware about this tribute...
Prometheus-ANJ : thanks for spotting, i was really too lazy to search the (huge) speedpainting database of this forum... Hope this please you, it began as a test for translucent materials and became tentacle and finished as a tribute to your paint, i added the socks and the mouths though to give it a more japanese look...
I thought about some glue hanging from the mouth too, but a bit too lazy to do it, and i wonder if it should stand still or have a movment as if the tentacle was moving, which would have supposed some motion blur on the tentacle, well i gave up on this one...
(for who wonder, yes i have a girlfriend...) _________________ La plupart des gens ne savent pas comment se comporter pendant un massacre. My Opened Mind |

Isric, many of your work tempted me a lot for a 3D translation, though i'm a bit afraid because of the great dynamism of your pictures, but since you ask, i can give it a try... _________________ La plupart des gens ne savent pas comment se comporter pendant un massacre. My Opened Mind |
