ok get a big one .. spend a lot more money also youll need to buy a new desk to put the thing on and get ready to have a really sore arm. I went from a 12x12 to 6x8 now Im using a 4x6 and luv it. I guess it depends on how you work. I tend to use my wrist not my arm when I draw. _________________ Brendan

I think the information to be gleaned from this dispute is important. If you like to do big aerobic sketches on giant pads, then get a bigger tablet.
If you feel fine doing thumbnails on an index card, then opt for the smaller one.
Get an Intuos; they have tilt support to mimic a real brush and a handy row of keystroke buttons at the top.
This probably isn't relevant to you, since you're just tinkering at this point, but there have been cases of folks getting repetitive movement stress injuries from hammering away at the smaller tablets all day long. Something to consider. _________________ QED, sort of. |

I personally got the Wacom Graphire 3. The drawing area is not big, but for me its totally enough. To be honest, I never really practiced drawing at all. Due to several personal problems i got i decided that i'll start drawing from now on to relief my stress and to have some kind of relaxation. Before people already told me my drawing skills are not that bad. So i got a wacom now and im very happy with it. People usually say its useless to buy a wacom in the beginning if u even havnt got the drawing skills, but i think this is wrong. Even drawing a simple circle works 10 times better with my wacom than wiv my mouse. oh and btw....

Hi.
I just got my Wacom Graphire 3 (A6 - Smallest) and it's pefect. At first I was afraid that it would be too small since I previously owned a Trust A4 tablet. But the Graphire 3 is great, takes up no space and you don't get tired in your hand/arm after 5 mins of drawing Go for it! _________________ Time out of mind

Thats a thing a wanted to ask.
So with small tablets you can draw with your wrist (which I am more into), does that mean only A6, or can it be A5 too?
What size iz A6, 4x5?and what is A5?
Aaand, is there a difference between Wacom Graphire3 Studio and Classic? _________________ hmmmm |
