Craig,
Wonderful work. Your watercolor sketches are mouthwatering.
The materials are ready, just waiting on your answer.

How long should an average speedpainting take?
4-8 min?

Capt. Flushgarden: Even run-of-the-mill clowns are the most evil things ever. I swear they were created to give children nightmares...
Blargh, I gotta stop doing speedpaintings late at night...

ceenda is right Capt. Flushgarden. They give children and other artists (such as me) nightmares.
So much new breathtaking material...
Still trying to find my values for realism.

jfb: After I saw your image ... I was ... like ... WTF ... when I read the nickname.
Knew it could only be an original gally0.
Hyrm: It depends on the complexity or the image and the experience of the artist.
Don't worry too much about it.
Clowns today? What a coincidence! I'm just wrote a book.
Who wants to buy it?
DSG - Clow Plougher
Yeah I noticed the typo in this one :

Capt.FlushGarden - awsome clowns
Spooge - the water colour piece is amazing
Some flying/falling rat-lizard cave thing - actually just trying out some different brushes, though that didn't really work.

Hello there,
I'm new here. Here's some of my recent stuff.
The Sith cloning chamber and Jedi onslaught were both 45 minute quickies. Not sure where to take them.
Whaja think?

Tnx for all the nice comment, they are appreciated!
Spooge, those watecolours are really great. I love the way you suggest form in that medium.
Mimer, the top one is very good, I would never believe it was the same person who made the pelican one aswell- maybe you were tired:)
Flushgarden, Those clowns are so creppy
EDIT: That is some really cool enviroments you got there summer pudding!

Hey Pringle, glad you liked it.
Here's another I did a week or so ago. This is roughly 2 and a half hours work. A little homage to Mr Mead and his glorious Blade Runner legacy.
Also, I've got to give Spoogey, Whassup, Pringle and the lads their due here. Not, in a sychophantic, fanboy way, just a little thank you for inadvertantly helping me find a style I'm happy with. I've been a big Frans Hals fan since I was a kid, and marvelled at his 'less is more' approach to his work. I've only recently embarked on this road, but I'm finding it infinitely more rewarding than the more painstaking, illustrative method.
