thx everyone.
I was experimenting today with wc colors and ink during the figure drawing, quick poses so it was a little bit stressful to apply wcs also.

Matthew, the figur in watercolor sketch, the one with the tower and the cowboy in oil are the absolute best pictures i have ever seen from you! Great improvement imho, ... gogogo!
gally0, great girl;
the brave ... creepy.
RendeReR, great background-structure.
MeatyOgre, great greenman!
Wassup, nice to see you again - your gandalf is absolute awesome!
Spooge, fantastic watercolor-woman!
@zhuzhu .. hmm, your girl-faces are great, no question, but i miss some other themes. Especially if you're not using any photorefs(do you?), you have no need to go on trying girl-faces! If you still need photorefs, than try without.
painted from live (the groundcolor wasn't teal)

meaty ogre, dreaming about me? no more pizza before bedtime. And Bill Nye (I had to look him up), that is flattering. If it had really been me it would have been a nightmare.
Screwed up ANdyts overpaint. Never paint from flash photography. Just say No.

Thanks Craig. I already thought you must think you wasted your time.
The one thing I didn't expect was another (and more detailed) version!
You messed something up? I'll have to compare your images.
"Never paint from flash photography" !?
You mean because it's harder to see the shapes? Or why ... ?
If you get the feeling that you were wasting your time when you look at my stuff ...
remember that you never help only one person when you post advice here.
And I think I'm already learning something.
Now I can start looking for more subtle things. What I do takes less time now.
Thanks again.
Everybody: Very nice stuff on this page
This is the 30 minutes version of a painting for the LOTR thread.

Thanks for the comment about the wide face.
( Tried to read between the lines here )
Had to look him up.
I think this is still speedy. Does it look better in the left version?
