Sorry for text spamming so often lately but I have so little time!
I just wanted to say (since I haven't been on for a few days):
BOTS! That ninja pic was AWESOME! Glad someone knows how to make a ninja look as cool as they can possibly be.
*ninja lover anyway* |

I have taken a picture of Mr.Mullins, streched it, turned it around, change the color, put an other over it until I got an unidentifiable piece of what ever. Than I tried to find some forms in it.
This all was a try to become looser and not construct everything.

zhuzhu>> That traditional effect is really cool. Is it Painter?
Spooge>> Your oils are beautiful, you're definately your own worst critic.
Flexible Elf>> Those are awesome, nice line weight.
Spent a hour revamping some of my old peices. Kind of a speedpaint...I guess. Still none ended up how I'd hoped they would...sigh.
This one was inspired from an old Mullins piece. I kinda' like the left 1/4 of it.

dougbot, very nice that fighting scene picture, I made an overpaint and cropped and widen his shoulders and also widen the whole picture which lowered the perspective a bit, kind of neato in battle scenes as what I think anyway. I hope it is ok with the overpaint.

ok now I am out of here for today.

Another Painter 6.1 quick one.
Mon, I love that pic of yours...
ZhuZhu, that pic of the little girl is wonderful: I wish I had your patience to paint every day some pics of your list.

Matthew, dude that is awesome. I like the composition a lot better, it feels more cinematic. I struggled with that piece for a long time, and was never very happy with it. But you made it work in a couple of minutes. Thanks a bunch.
Never worry about an overpaint, it's always okay. That's how people learn, and I've got lots of learning to do. _________________ Meow |

quick face studies, without ref, trying to find out where i'm going wrong, may do more of these as i've learned how i think i see faces (although pretty girls seem to be easier), need to eliminate those probs (planning on doing oil portraits)
btw, mon, nice trash, m703-342, nice man, and zhuzhu, solid as usual, micke, hpx, list goes on |

i've been lurking here for about 4 years now, and have never seen you say one good thing about art center. do you regret it? why did you go there twice?
just scribbled this to get the question out.

Not been in the mood, creating any art latly due to
1:my two dog died within the same week!
2: my granpah.. doesnt look that good their either! :\
3: I got dumped by a gal I truly loved!
why? because I told her, I loved her! how ironic...

Varg, you definitely got me thinking here.
are you inspired by Yoshitaka Amano?
(the man behind the imo "very" original Final Fantasy art)

I went to ACCD and took some classes at Art Institute of California. Both are wonderful in their own way, both take themselves way too seriously. |

No pic (again), I'm at work.
