stylesdavis, yes I agree, the rest of the image is active enough that the flat there is open to like or dislike.
This started from life, then I messed around with the head later and completely buggered it. Working this realistically from your head is not something I should try at home.

Ok some bad experiments, the first one is watercolor with top light and the second one is Color-pencils, I am having a difficult time to learn the magic with Color-pencils still though I have seen some amazing things that can be done with that medium.
