This is an image that I'm going to incorporate into our school's yearbook cover this year. I think it's almost done but I'm open to any suggestions. Also, it looks really overworked for some reason. I tried to eliminate that look by using brushes at 100% opacity (PS 7) but I can't seem to get rid of it. I could use some tips on that too. Thanks for looking!

Hmm..I really like the picture but I'm not sure why the figures are all semi-transparent...I think it detracts from the piece, but perhaps there's a reason? |

I think it looks good, except for the brick wall on the right. For one, it looks like a distorted photo, the colors are too washed out and it's stealing the attention from the rest of the image. Secondly, I think it's too bright further away from the light source. Maybe add more shadow as it moves away from the lettering? |

I just noticed the flatness of the M, as well... Did a quick paintover to show the few things that I think could use some work:
That said, I still think it looks really good. |

Quick update:
- made the sky darker.
- emphasized lighting on the pink lettering
- increased the opacity on the figures
- added to the 'M'

Looks pretty neat. Did you do the floor/ground using markers or is that digital?
I personally find the neon sign hurts my eyes, which kind of takes away from the image. Perhaps trying to make the neon tube part more apparenty would help. Possibly also a shadow behind the letters would help bring them out from the wall, and lokk quite neat. |

This image was purely digital in PS 7. Here's one more update.
