spooge, I love your humor and your latest speedy. :)

Jonathan Wahlstedt, perdador, thank you guys, Heres another acrylic in a similar style made today for you guys :)

Remember guys, a use of a sponge will boost up your landscape paintings when made with acrylic. :)

Yeah my ID class doesn't seem to teach that. Maybe they only teach that to those majoring in ID in the more advanced classes in my school. You'd think as important as lighting is they would have more books on it.
Oh well I guess I'll just have to drive my ID teacher insane trying to get that information out of him. They mostly just get into which way the light source is coming from and where the shadow would be placed in relation to that. Which is important too, but then different types of lights do different things which is the info I was after.
And thanks for the link to the book Probustion. I'm gonna take a look at it.

Hey Spooge, do you have any progress shots of that turning.jpg one? It's really great. I'm just curious about the process.

This is crap. An orc, bunny, smaurai thing in the 'attempted' Spooge style...but horribly done. Blarg. I had an army of knights infront of the O.B.S., but I had already spent almost forty minutes on it, so they all died.

Not my usual style (not that I have one), but damn, Spooge is so friggin' inspiring. Forgive me.

Tonights disaster

hmm seems people like the sword babe. Subject has anything to do with it?Smile Anyways glad you like it, thanks.

brokencow, no, sorry, didn't think to. Started in painter over a scanned pastel, of which a lot is still there. Finished in PS. Still can't control painter at all. It kinda has it's way with me.

Ok by me spyroteknik. Less paint, render, more get the big shapes right, if you ask my opinion, I know you didn't, but uh, sorry.

That reminds me, I was in life class today and I looked up and the model was sitting there and everyone was looking at their drawings. I guess you have to do that sometimes, but I looked out of curiosity and people were sawing away with the charcoal for 5 minutes at a time, then glance at the model, back to sawing. It's like they looked at the model to just make sure it was not break time. If you ask me, and I know you didn't, sorry, look at the model and think about it before sawing with the pencil.

i will try to follow my own advice.

Blade, they teach that stuff to ID people only because the students need to be able to present objects that don't exist convincingly. I suppose you don't need to complicate it more than that, just a warm key and a shadow and a cool soft fill, done.

Spooge - nice purple shadow and a very cool drawing.

know what you mean about not looking at the model - a fun thing is to do 20 sec. drawings and not look at the paper. Man, you'll just keep on laughing and laughing.

visual myriad - nice girl - love the loose line.
