Here a school project about a Movie poster in the 1930 style... i choose the people from mars as my subject... i need your opinion about my poster...

I think it's cool.
The only part that bothers is me is that the faces don't look as photo real as the bodies. Maybe because you used a picture for the bodies and not for the head?
Also the masking around the arms feels a little sloppy in some areas.

I think the concept and the composition is solid, although I'd tone down the movie name a bit. Maybe make that pink orange a red color like the eyes and tone down the green glow around the letters.

Otherwise I like the idea, the aliens looks very cool. :)

well i think that major thing in posterart is idea. here the idea isn't impressive. but if the idea is weak you can make it with master technical skills, i can't see them on this poster. typography is simple in idea. too simple, nothing surprising. you should mix more colors. even if aliens are green there could be some yellows in light, and red or blue in shadows. this will make the picture more atractive in visual aspect.

dude, there is yellow and such in the highlights. And adding blues and reds to the shadows doesnt always make it look better. This, IMHO, looks great with all the greens becuase it emphasizes the...greenishness of the martians.

well, i like it, i think u'll get an A+ and the "its real" is hilarious.
