I had a lot of fun doing this picture for a RPG book called POST-MORTEM.
I've also done the graphism, with the types and coverdesign.
I really enjoy working on it

The illustration without anything :

And with the titles and the pages design :

I love the illustrations. The type doesn't excite me though. It looks more scooby-doo than flat out horror/dirty scifi. I'd recommend changing the typeface and maybe not putting it on the wavy line.

This game isn't about Scifi or horror themes
In fact this RPG game is very sarcastic and deals with clichs. You can play with all the classical RPG universes. You're dead and you are sent to different enclaves, all of them are parodies of RPG universes already well known...And everything is going on around the Death and its administration.
I try to show it with some details and with the graphic design.
I didn't want something only dark and serious...It needed a funny part ( So that's why I choose a Scoobidoo type and vivid colors for the extension book covers Smile )

And I tried to do something a little different than what you can expect with the first illustration alone...I didn't want to use a lot of effects on the types and graphism. A more modern and refined graphic style
A lot of photoGraphism stuffs are always dealing with the same kind of renderings (like my illustration alone in fact) and I've tried something else...
I don't know if I failed but it's something I'll try to explore further...

Ahhh. If I had known more about the game, I wouldn't have mentioned the type - it DOES work well for what you wanted. Good job.

i'm confused by the picture. i can tell what some elements are, but not all... and if i look at it long enough, i just get confused. O.o

wierd effect from a picture. normally that's a bad thing. here it's not.
