well this is my second big try painting with painter 8
it is in early progress (worked 1 1/2 hour until now)
i don�t really want to show my progress and to get critics, the more i want to know what tools u use mostly andwhat for----
i think i use the wrong one or didn�t find a cool tool until now...
so please give me some tipps what tools u have to use and what u shouldn�t use.....
i myself use a lot of smear (blenders) and airbrush/ arcylics and dodge and burn of course (somebody already said that the last 2 ones aren�t that good)
another thing i want to ask.... what resolution / and dpi do u use
(this image is 3600 x 3600 with 200dpi in orginal)

well, nevertheless nobody gave a answer or a tip until know i want to show my next progress...... i think i found something really important the tab button and the right use ( now i don�t have to smear around...)
it�s amazing what�s able.....

its too smudged out and blurry.
the face is good. i think you should scratch off everything but the face and go on from there. |

is this a mouse work? i think u should really ditch the smear tool and work on painting in the stuff. |
