Socar, i think the tree looks fine and is except of those stupid non-antialiased brushstrokes quite good to recognize.

varg: if you define the shapes more, I think it will read much better . . . maybe even indicate some cool background in there to help the composition . . . defeniately post a newer version of it, if you end up working on it more

Spooge--Did you ever figure out the answer to my question? No rush, just to let you know I'm still waiting.
See, I understand what you mean, but I'm just hazy on what "standard" you're shooting for. I mean, is it something none of us has ever seen? What is it similar to? It almost seems you're shotting to attain the ability to express everything with lines and shapes alone--much like comic book artists, without ever having to resort to using "eye candy" of values, colors, and noddling(rendering)? Am I close? |
