your portfolio needs alot of work...

take tutorials on shading, basic drawing skills, and how to touch up a scanned image.
i would never include images in my portfolio that looked like that. no offence! Very Happy

This is the place to learn, though. Keep practicing, keep observing, keep reading up and soaking in all the information you can. I've seen people improve dramatically in their time here.
