sorry for my english....
I've a question...i was in the link section/archiv and want to watch the websites from the artist....and i was wondering....there are so great artworks and some sites looks like....5 minutes jobs...(i don't want to attack somebody..) it is my opinion...just wondering.
Is it because they know she/he is good and doesn't need a "good" page or what is it?
The other site is...people who have not good artworks - want to make a good page. That is my experience....sure there are site which have both ...it is only a question in my brain.

It's hard to say something without examples ...
I guess the bad homepages were done very fast ...
or"done by a friend" because these good artists don't have a lot of time!?
Or maybe it's a matter of taste ...
most artists here like simple websites (as opposed to websites with lots of visual effects)

Usually when a page is simple with great art on it is because they're trying to not distract or detract anything from what's important on the site - being the images.
when a page looks like textured shit with peanuts and happyfaces - then they're just odd fellows.
It's funny when Web designer's get someone else to design their website because they can't. It just happens sometimes. |

i would never show a example, because i don't want to say to somebody...this page is bad....i am thinking this.....or somebody ask me, but that's an other question..

i hope you don't miss understand me...i am not the grafik-technik webdesigner or something else...i only want to know it...and so Gigant Hamster said...think that's why.
