i'm trying to get more realistic with these and still keep... I don't know... but this one is so far my best attempt..

But maybe you could play down the reflection of the table colour in his clothing on his arm. It's is material, fabric, afterall, and the table is not in particularly bright light.

Looks really nice, but I think the rest of the image would benefit from the same amount of attention you gave the face, particularly the hands and paper, which look a little too rough.

but here's a try... also I clened the image up, tweaked colours a bit and put some detail on the background.

I think I saw this one in the speedy earlier, I like it a lot thou I think the background was better before, maybe you could tone down the lighter green decoration on the wall, otherwise is the picture very good. :)

I agree, the background does look a lot better then before, I would add some warmer hues to the walls though, The room looked more cozy before you added the wallpaper.
