Ok this wasn't really a speedpainting! But it was done in one session!

I've been lurking around here for a few weeks and am astonished by the talent here...so much that I bought a wacom tablet! Here are some speedpaints as I learn how to use the darn thing. This has really opened up a whole new portion of Photoshop for me. I'm still trying to figure out how some of you get those amazing textures.

Even though it's lamo not to post a pic I just have to get it out!
Pierre, wasssup, ecsdesign, spooge......amazing.
Socar: It's all in your head......chillout will'ya
oDD: Yeah baby, really good.
Matthew: I'd say the last one is really pointing to a place you'd want to be. The slightly desaturated colors and such are the way to go. Very nice!
Brilliant work guys. |

More DSG nonsense. Not up to par with some of the fantastic works here - I'm impressed every day!
Ceenda: Funny as hell. =) |

About an hour sitting downtown to do the ink. No pencils, straight ink, so I'm really proud of that. Iwas forced against my will by my professor to add an ink wash after the fact. |

What is on Tzan's desk top today?
My first try at doing chrome. Not too bad I guess.

I know this is a little bit late, but I've been browsing through this speedpainting and saw this artwork. Very nice colors. I was wondering: Zlu, are you who did the artwork for Magna Carta? Man, those are beautiful. (if it's not you, the guy who did has an approach very similar to yours) Anyways, do you have a site?
/edit: sorry, just saw your post about your site. It's just that I'm browsing this thread backwards. _________________ _ _ _____ _ _

(yet more DSG material -- ~45mins)
Ceenda: Yes, I use selections when I can. Not in the one above. |
