Hi everyone. Here are a couple new ones I'd like to share.

The first image is of a Shaman's House/Store. There is a story behind this that I won't go into right now.

The second image is a character sheet of Emma, a militant swimming instructor.

C&C always welcome.

Thanks!

Get up Kids rocks so I had to comment this thread. :)
*ten minutes from down-town is ten minutes too far* Matthew headbangs. :)

I like both of them especially the first one, light blue and orange works very weel together in that piece.

see you and keep it up
Matthew

very cool work!
the first one has great mood to it,
I know it's raining in the pic and colors tend to be less saturated in such a situation, though me things there is a lack of deepest darks in there.

The second one has a nice style, funny looking character, coll face expressions.

That first one is unbelievably fantastic. The second one is great too, very simple but full of character and style. Where the hell have you been lately, anyway?

Thanks for your comments, everyone!

Matthew: Indeed, they do rock. Thanks for the comments.

Silber: Valuable suggestion on the value level. My scan, of course, doesn't do justice to the original piece...in which the blue was airbrushed and value much more varied. I wish I could get the feel of the original across.

Tinusch: Thank you! I've been milling about busy with other things, trying to update my portfolio with hopes of relocating and finding a gig. Where have YOU been? Wink

Oh, and I've dropped off the lineart for the house sketch, in case anyone cares... inked with rapidograph (mostly) on vellum.

Both the pictures are very kewl. The 2nd pix reminds me of either someone who could be really annoying or one of those "scary-looking but nice from the heart" kinda pple. Btw, in the 1st pix, what're those horizontal lines of light across the pix? Maybe someone could explain to me? Embarassed
