I painted this in about 6 hours, using the GIMP coupled with my old Wacom ArtZII. From ref, though a crappy-quality 320x240 ref. I'm satisfied with it, though I couldn't get that pesky right eye to look right -- thank god for the crop too.

You managed to get your Wacom working under Linux? Tell me how!
I like the image, well done. The only thing I'd suggest would be some cleaner edges and planes. _________________ Free Tibet! |

It wasn't all that hard for me to get my tablet working under linux, since I have a serial wacom artzII. It was little more than plugging it in, and doing a bit of work on the XF86Config. The USB Graphires and Intuoses present a bit more of a problem, since you have to get the USB subsystem working juuuuuuuust right.... but it can be done! Check out http://sunsite.ui.ac.id/pub/linux/docs/HOWTO/Wacom-Tablet-HOWTO.html for a beautiful HOWTO. good luck ;) |
