Just thought I'd share this one, It's a rework of an older painting I made long time ago, dunno if I killed it or not:

Yeah, it's a nice painting.
IMO if you painted it from scratch now it would look considerably better.
I say this only becuase you're recent paintings have really been expectional, and this one is merely amazing Razz

I think just generally the scale of things and perspective and feel seems a bit awkward not entirely immersive. I dunno, I like most of your other new ones miles more, but obviously this one is really good anyway so I should shut-up.

Surprised

...I'll throw my 2 cents in here too. The "original" of the plane you did before was really good but I think that this one takes the cake. I think Its more realistic because of the way you decited to rip it and show all the detail. Also I think the referenced trees you had in the original painting were kind of out of place. I like this one soo much I wanna lick it! Very Happy Also it seems more dark and sad.

Keep up the good work bro!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words!

I totally agree with you guys on the crits,

HOODZ: Yes I mirrored it to fix the composition, I hope it's better this way. Flipping images can reveal many errors, do it!! Smile

Tzan: the cannibals are actually INSIDE the aircraft, with beer spare human ribs and a 44" wide screen television. don't disturb them!

the_insider: it's 4195*2079pixels large, I'm posting some detail pics for ya shortly.

Capt.Fred: yupp you're right, I could have done a 3D model or maybe a complex linedrawing to get it more exact but I's just practise to get better at doing it without the extra help hehehe.

Crazybread: hehe lick it ey? hmmm... Yupp I tried to dump all that shit that kinda destroyed the first image, and I remember some of the crits on it, I tried to make the damage more realistic on this one, hope I got it right Smile

I think this is the oldest exisitng WIP to date. Its like your Moby Dick. I thought it was great when I first saw it and am still astounded that you continue to improve it. The Mirroring makes a big difference to me.
