OK now here's my VIking, You might think I totally flipped out, but actually I looked in my Viking book and put stuff that vikings actually made together into a super ultra hardcore armor suit hehehe... Tor's hammer, Mjlner, the mystical spiral that vikings had on their shields, and the helmet is a stylized version of a helmet found in Uppsala/ Sweden, with a "bierd" made of iron. They were really into having bieards and big eyebrows on their helmets, dunno why, manly I guess hehe.

That's wicked, Captain (all your latest posts).
Odd, you're improving a *LOT*. Great image.
Has anyone noticed Sijun starting to speed up again this afternoon? Or am I on crack? |

The only bad thing about this thread is that some day all the links to the pictures will dissapear. But for the time being it's still a feast!
oDD: You're storming the thread with some amazing work here! Keep it up!
Capt.FlushGarden: I love the pilot doggy. I think there's scope for a toy production line there.
HoodZ: I've really enjoyed these tank pics! Nice style and the monochrome works nicely too.
jibe: Awesome style!
Sukhoi: More, more, more aircraft please!!!
spooge demon: I watched a trailer for something called "Pirates of the Carribean" on Apple.com trailers. Sounds like your kind of thing.
Bah, my holiday ended and so did the speedpics for now...

Ceenda, my first professional gig was with a dude who was trying to sell a rip off of Pirates of the Carribean. Instead of Pirates, he used Vikings. And he was trying to sell this back to Disney. I did 10 big gouache paintings for him, designed, layout etc, for $200 each. Oy.
Trying to learn to draw and trying to learn on the computer at the same time is one variable too many. But drawing on the computer has a lot of promise for commerial work, I think, just have to figure out how.
geez i messed up the legs. Oh well.

Good point Craig. By the way, have you given any thought to Luna's inquiry about your "badly drawn" painting? _________________ - Tom Carter

Hey, spooge, you did one of mine, so I decided to do a really quick and dirty takeoff on your pirate one.
Hm. Pirates. I need to do some of those.
Right after I get some WORK done. *swear* _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.

OK, I totally lied. One more for the road, and NOW I'm going to work.
The landlord from "La Bohme". I always envisioned him as some dried-up old hoser with a really, REALLY bad combover who still thinks he's a ladies' man, even though he couldn't even get laid in his prime. _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.
