Nice to see so much spooge! I'll be sad when he disappears off again..
No greys are as rich and creamy as spooge's greys and low saturated background values. I want to be able to make things look clean and opaque whist being textured too |

Ahh yes. Wise words, grasshopper. But would not that same duck sink in the water from which it hath just came, with such heavy thinking?
Sadly, perhaps we'll never know. |

heres my take on logan, maybe a bit victorian looking, but thought id post it anyway. Pretty quick pic- sketched while rendering, then quickly painted up at home.

The car started out as a 3d model rendered in TRUESPACE2, this is the back of the model from another rendering, ( the front view is on my home computer, I'll try to find it and post it ). But I don't care for the look of my 3d renderings. I used to do alot of marker and prisma sketching and I missed the loose style so I'm working on my 2d sketching with PHOTOSHOP. |

Hey it's Steve Payne! This is Craig Mullins. Don't know if you remember me, we were at ACCD ID together. Good to see you here.
I remember Steve had gone to Pasadena City college (or was it Long Beach?) before AC, and he already knew not only how to draw well, but in that COOL ID STYLE.
Side note, There was a guy named Dave Marek who was an automotive illustrator before art center. Myself and the rest of the class barely knew which end of the pencil was down. He also had a gift of not sleeping much at all and being fine. So in the first car design class we had we would straggle in having stayed up all night turning out a few drawings that looked like decaying slamanders and he would have been there for an hour already, 10 beautiful drawings on the wall, perfectly matted and presented, doing a crossword and drinking coffee. Time to go be an accountant. I think Dave is now running Honda. But if I ever get him on a golf course again I will kick his arse:)
Hey Steve, what happened to the nickmaster, I miss his Christmas cards.
