Ok, like Frog I always had enourmos difficulties with water, but now I tried drawing it for the first time, used ref though...Im not very pleased with it, but it was hard...And I should probably spend more then 2 hours on it, but no time now !
Anyway, think I should put a lighthouse on the rocks, or maybe it would look odd, some ways to improv the water, but I dont think I can put in alot of detail cause the canvas was only 900*700!!!

Whoe, that ROCKS!!! (and not just because it has rocks!)
Some of you guys are rediculas with talant. Give me some!!
Anyway, I think a lighthouse would be to big or out of place, as the rocks look relitivly close up. Along with the waves. Unless all you wanted to do was the base of the building.
However, a person/animal trying to endure the waves on the rocks against the wind would give the painting focus I belive!
Great job keep it up!! _________________

I would not put a lighthouse in there, either. I like it as a study of waves, just as it is.
I can't think of what else to do but maybe detail the clouds more -- give them a slightly more of a roilig, threatenting look. But then, the grey, misty look is very nice and I wouldn't want it to be lost. |

Hey, that's great!! If you want to add detail just enlarge your canvas (save an older copy though, just in case), as the underlying image won't suffer too much if you enlarge it, especially if you add detail on top of it.
The best way to enlarge an image without losing too much quality is to do it in steps of 110%, do enough of those to get to 2000 pixels wide and then add your detail.
I'll say a bit more after the weekend, but it's saturday night now and I've got to go out.
