[General Confusion]

after I had multiple requests to see work from the companies that reside in my client list, I decided to make a nicer fluid site design to do just that (instead of throwing it in to the old design in a piecemail sort of fashion) check the client list for examples... I also gave myself a crash course in web design on this (since I can't do it to save my life)
so this is my cheap way of making excuses for things that may not work properly... if you guys do come across anything like that, please I encourage you to bring it to my attention, either here or through e-mail:

I am also trying to thicken up my link list, so if anyone out there would like to swap links (your link for my link, situation) with me, I'd be happy to do so.

for now here is a small update image, (which can be seen on my site, along with a couple of other newer pieces)

and on another note, I posted a step by step concept design thread awhile back, showing the process of creating a warehouse level.. well, the good news is, I got work from that company I did the test for... I have done some game level concepts for them (fully painted scenes that turned out pretty good.. but I can't show them yet )

and I am also working on another IP that is currently on hold due to E3.. however, I am still lookng for some reliable staff work and would relocate without hesitation, if someone out there had any interest...

Yeah Wow I remember you and the warehouse stuff and also the earlier picture which is on the front of your site, you are really good. I am glad you got that warehouse job cause it was really good stuff. :)
The new site is also very good, I like the design.

edit - hehe I forgot to comment on your new picture, great picture, especially with the sketch dude saved in the front. :)

Hey, GC.

No more Flash interface! Whoohoo! I like the new design. Inkwells are just plain cool, and I think everyone likes a good mythical setting. It gives the impression that you're interested in doing more fantasy illustration, so hopefully that's what your design is going for. The artwork is looking good too; you're making huge jumps in quality, from what I see. I really like the new character designs.

The biggest criticism I have of the site is the navigation, the labels:

I guess you're trying to theme the navigation, but I find it a bit kryptic. Instead of "They See The Light", why not just put "Client List", and so on? Same with the "Voices In My Head" section. The idea is very novel, but I couldn't tell at first what was going on. Are these the gallery images? I guess it all boils down to: make it clear!

BTW, good going on your success so far. I'm glad to see your hard work is paying off. Hope to keep in touch with you.
