so I'm trying to down load a psd file here, and it just opens in internet explorer through a quicktime plug-in. How do I just download it and save it to my folder to open it in ps? I have tried to save target as and change quick time file associations. Here's the page and on the right there is a link to download the psd file.

When I left click in IE 5.5 a DL window opens like it should. No idea why Quicktime is grabbing it.
In Netscape a left click opens a screen of text (the file as text). So Netscape users need to Shift + Left Click to get the file.
I love pixel art and that page is crazy! |

Hey
Isnt that just a quicktime setting, Im guessing you have the windows files selected, or?
go to edit in quicktime player choose preferences quicktime preferences and un-select Windows files, maybe doesnt work but you could try it. or maybe you have tried that already? ..hmm, now Im confused? ..hmm??

ahh, now i tried to uninstall quicktime, and I did, but there is still the plug-in for the browser. How do I uninstall that? And when I search for quicktime I still find all kinds of wierd things in the system folders and all over. |

Hey
Maybe there is an older version left on the computer. go to control Panel, then to - other control panel options, if you have a qucktime icon there its still on the computer. If the quicktime still is there go to the browser plugin in the quicktime settings and un-check images in the Mime-Settings, could work.
