hey,
first post in a long time.
i've done this room for a good old point-and-click adventure some friends and me are going to make.
actually it won't be in the game, but will be used as the website. we're going to make the site like part of a game - solve puzzles to access the content.
so characters and interface are still missing in this one.

what do you think?
thanks for comments and crits.

edit:
bigger version -> here

Hello

I think it looks really cool, I like how the perspective is distorted on the toilet walls.

Nice, I like the perspective, and your illustrations style.

Love the DOTT meets Painter look! The perspective could be even more distorted for some fun, but it looks great as it is. Whats the name of your game and url? I would be very interested in keeping track of the project.

matthew, eigam: thank you.

neole: we don't have a name for the game yet, but the url will be www.gooseberry.at, as we named your team like that(gooseberry.). right now there is nothing online, but i promise to post again once the site is done and we can begin our work on the actual game.

i am using photoshop, not painter. somehow i have never been able to understand the interface of painter, but i am eagerly anticipating the release of version 8. i am seriously considering switching to painter, if i can get a hang of it. that style is pretty much work in photoshop and might be much faster and easier to do in painter. i guess.

I love the pic, but what I really love is the yellow tiled wall!! I like the way the light reflects off of it. This pic is a winner, indeed!!

Are you going to use AGS for the game? If not, which engine are you planning to use? Looking forward to more updates from the game!

sorry for the late reply - i've been away for a few days.

drawnblud26: thank you.

silkdancer: i hope your question is allready answered by matthew. if not, you can message me anytime.

neole: nope, we're not going for AGS, instead we're writing our own engine. can't go too much into detail about that though =P

chthonic divinity: thank you. you're right about the mary statue and the condom dispensor =)

thanks for your replies everyone, this is a great motivation ^_^
