Wow, I'm evil, I've been a member for some time and haven't posted yet. *rolls eyes at self*



Unfortunately, the full image doesn't quite translate the detail very well, but to be sure, it's a fun pose and image overall I'm thinking maybe his face will be easier to see once the rest of his body is finished...

The final image should make more sense, since the shading on his head will also apply to the rest of his body (the base color is rather light)

And, because it's even lovelier even further up close...

This is gonna be fun to finish...I did about 2/3rds of this in about two days. He should be finished soon.

And yes, I know, some lines are being shown that shouldn't (like his cheek line through his hair), there's a lot to be cleaned up and finished (where are the insides of his ear?!), etc. And yes, there'll be a second light from below the water to the front right side of the image.

And although he's got nice lips, my being my royally picky self, they just aren't what I wanted...so expect them to get fixed, as well.

Also, I'll be changing the scene from day to night, with the moon instead of the sun, and that water...ugh. I won't even go there. I'll just say that A) I was half awake while attempting to start the second light in the water, and B) most of the background is currenly a glorified gradient anyway, but WILL be painted in properly once finished.

C&C welcome if you like...I know most of the issues going on here, and I'll fix them soon, but if you see anything, feel free to say so in case I missed something.

Oh yeah...and if you're wondering why I'm drawing cheesecake, he's going to the OtherCon (adult Gathering of the Gargoyles) calender contest (More info on the Gathering: http://gathering.gargoyles-fans.org/)
