roundeye is a man of the people and would be a great mod! he knows what he's talking about and is fair! best of all he's sparticus! a king of kings! a man for the people! make him a mod! who ever's in charge here!

no duh, but Dhabih no longer interested in this board any more, he no longer responds email. His life is too busy for these kind of things.

Actually I think he would make a pretty good mod. This place could use someone a little bit crazy and strict. Time to filter out all the jerks if you ask me :/

Ahh well... I'm sure the current mods would do something about it if it were permitted. Seems like Dhab wants the board to have little to no moderation. Just making a guess though. *shrug*

Actually Jezebel, I find these last few weeks as being pretty calm times considering forum history. Just my 2c and touching wood.

Egerie - They may be calm in comparison, but some of the things that happened should have been dealt with immediately and never were. And just because something isn't as bad as it could be, it doesn't mean its good. Sijun is a great forum without all the problem people... so they shouldn't be allowed to hang around if they are going to ruin the atmosphere. *shrug* That's all I'm getting at

and incase you don't know, Dhabih is back from Africa around a month ago. He promised to bring back the old Sijun Spirit, add more mods but no, his promise is broken, for the 5438275382957327543259327543275935 times.

Other than some annoying trends this is still the best bbs I have ever visited for art.

I would like to see: people quit responding to only nude, fantasy, or robotic art.
People like st. neil, and flat[666] (I still can't figure out if flat is a joke or an actual freak of nature) and others of their disruptive nature taken care of quickly and effiently.
And I would like someone to rate me even if its 0 stars, i feel left out. (j/k on that one).

For the most part, I still come here everyday, look at peoples work, participate in conversations, and give advice when I can. Most the members of this bbs follow the same procedures as I do. I'd rather deal with some minor annoyances than getting banned for saying the "f" word and such.

What happened to the semi-popular mod election thread? A good portion of the active constituency posted in this thread, voicing their opinions on who should be moderators. I figured it would still hold relevancy to today's forum, although it seems to have been lost in the annals of communal memory.

Heh, Dhabih is overseas at the moment and without access to the forum. Good odds he'll be after more mods when he gets back, but keep an eye for a thread in Digital Art Discussion rather than here.

As you can see from the time, jetlag is still a factor. I just got back from a month stay in Swaziland in southern Africa... I think i'll put up some pictures here once i get them sorted out. A preview is over there on the left of a giraffe i saw. It was an awesome trip.
