Hi, I asked around several times and it seems like I've got the strangest obsession for a 14-year old. Im totally Obsessed by serial killing, mass murders and cutting open people. I'm wierdly addicted to discovery channel, because there are this funny FBI documentairys and stuff. People think its disgusting I'm watching hospital series like all the time and I enjoy seeing heartoperations and that kind of things. I don't know why but everything in Serialkillers attracts me and everyone thinks I'm this big freak......Is it that wierd? Are there other people who have or had this kind of obsession or maybe something more wierd (what I also like is to see how insects have sex..) well.........let me know Very Happy

It's worrisome if you get pleasure from people being in pain, because then you will be a violent person very soon.

It's not worrisome if it honestly interests you in a scientific matter, because then you will be a criminal psychologist/forensic scientist later on in life.

I think you actually just pretend to like this stuff because of the attention it gets you.

i don't think this obsession is so very strange. i'm pretty sure almost everyone is sharing this obsession, although not as strong as in your case. otherwise there wouldn't be dozens of mass-murder movies being filmed every year. but i guess it will wear off sooner or later. Without doubt i can say there _is_ something strangely fascinating about mass-murder. and i am one of the most peaceful persons world has ever seen.

to answer your topic-question: i think i don't have any really weird obsessions. at least none i could think of right now. yes, i'm boring, i know.

Eh it's not weird....there are much stranger obsessions out there - I have a few of them.

Zach: Liking to see other people in pain doesn't mean you'll hurt people later in life. Some people take it from a vouyeristic standpoint and just enjoy watching others writhe in agony. (that phrase is awesome sounding, by the way.)

\m/ rock on - and may the world be filled with NORMAL obsessions like murder, sex, bodily functions, chronic masturbation and everything else there is.

Oddities make life fun.

Yes I'm Sijun-addicted too ...
I always collect stuff ... reference images and so on ...
I am Buffy and Angel addicted ...

And there are some strange obsessions Twisted Evil but I don't want to talk about that.
I really love that EZPics ... I guess i'm addicted to that as well.

A 14 year old obsessed by serial killing ... am I the only one who thinks that's a bit early?
I don't think it's that weird though because everybody seems to know rotten.com.
I don't exactly like stuff like that ... I don't even find it very interesting.

ToiletPhish: Can I put my pencil up Your anus?

Andy&Max: I think a lot of People are Sijun Addicted dont you?
I know I dont have posted that much but I still check this every day (thats pretty absurd for me because I dont like forums at all, except the WM3 forums)

Nnael: Love to see one of your lanterns some time....

Giant Hamster: I hope Your obsession is not to practise gen manipulation on hamsters..... :D

Dr.Bang: Counter strike scares me......... a lot, My little brother plays it all the time and he is sooooooo addicted to it, once he had to leave from the computer while playing CS and he was so upset he almost cut of his hand with a sword.

Haohmaru: Yes I'm peacefull too, I would never ever hurt a human being, or animal, not on purpose. I'm a vegetarian and I dont like seeing people hurt other people, but this just interests me..... Dont ask me why

I am starting to get obsessed with Raven Shield. Counterstrike is dead to me. Head boxes are out of god damn control anyway. Jack in the box size.

Raven Shield on the other hand... no bullshit awp whoring - jump dodging - campaways. Countersrike with realism i always wished was there. You do need some powerful metal to run it though.

Dinosaurs(particularly the bird-like dinosaurs, and primitive birds themselves.. though they were actually the the same thing/closely related), Giraffes and Okapis... and Super Furry Animals! Gawd, I love that music.

Oh dude, this reminds me of a story..

Back in High School, I had a friend who was into all those serial killers, murderers, death, and shit..

Anyway, one day he was trying to pick up this chick and a bunch of us were hangin' out with him.. So he's talking to this girl and one of my friends has the bright idea of going through his backpack behind her back. Anyway, he pulls out a book called "A Diary of a Serial Rapist" and starts waving it around. It was pretty funny to see this guy wave this book behind the girl's back while my friend was trying to act all calm and smooth.. He tried so hard not to make the girl turn around.

Fortunately, the chick never saw the book, but once she left, the guy was sooo pissed. Anyway, it was pretty funny.. Very Happy

Don't know how much of a turn on having an obsession with serial killers is to the ladies..

Im not quite as drastic as the others, but I am into forensics, and yes, it was before CSI was ever televised. I barely even watch it nowdays, dont even know which days its on. Anyhoo, yeah, I dunno why, but the whole investigation part has always intrigued me, as much as the science part and dissections and such. Funny thing is, last semester in my bio class, we were dissecting sheep brains and cow eyes, and I couldn't even go anywhere near them, I made my female lab partner do it, and she jumped right into it. Rolling Eyes

I also just bought a book last weekend when I was visiting a friend in ottawa. It's entitled "Murder and Mayhem - A Doctor Answers Medical and Forensic Questions for Mystery Writers" written by D.P. Lyle, M.D. It's a book where authors write letters to Dr. Lyle and ask questions as to whether or not the situations their characters in their novels is scientifically feasible. For example, an author asks "My protagonist is a hardcore biker who ends up falling and hitting is head when the kickstand of his Harley gives way. He hits his head on the curb and falls unconscious as blood excretes from his noes and ears. The girlfriend whom is nearby sees the fall, and the blood and is afraid he is dead. Are these signs accurate, and if not, what sort of things might occur from his head trauma?" (It's not a direct quote, but along those lines), and Dr. Lyle explains either yes or no, those symptoms are correct, what else might show, how fast death might occur depending on the severety of the hit, different types of head trauma severeties,etc... And there's tons of scenarios that authors write in. Very interesting I must say....... but enough of my blurbing, im going to bed, must work in 5 hours........busy day....oie....
