looks real nice, I like the style a lot. The face and backdrop are my favorite parts of the piece.
Did you use painter or photoshop?

I want to say wow wow wow at first time open this thread. I didn't say it because I am waiting beat to post more.
Beat you are the artist understand from, shape, light, color and great confident line. I like they way you paint woman. You bring up the feminine tender delicate beauty.
You just great. I have limited English to describe how wonderful your art.

Hey, Beat, your art is terrific, I love seeing a very confident eye and someone venturing to find a new and unique feel to his art that others haven't. Your use of color is very vibrant and strong but you carry it off quite exceptionally.
The only one comment that I would make is to be careful with the placement of and the shapes of your background. At first glance and read I got just a little confused. The first one has a shape above her head the mimics the shape of an arm, but on close inspection you know that it isn't. Same with the third one. It's obvious later that it's not, but it leaves you questioning it at first glance. On the third one it's the red shape on the right. But other then that I think they are terrific. I hope that you're looking for some crits. I should of probably asked if that's what you wanted first.
Can't wait to see more! You kick my ass.

kevincu : thank you for the comment : you're completely right with the confusing shapes here and there...not enough planifications for ya. I'll keep that in mind when working with this kind of style thingy in the future. thanks again!

exoskeleton : using my own photos as ref for this very style... a method I decided to work with from the start, on this serie.
