hmm...its kinda hard to crit at this stage... but i can giveu some advice. I think it looks better when you make the farther back buildings, uhhh, faded out a little. Then make the middle buildings faded out alittle less. Keep this goin until u get to the foreground buildings, which should be left the same. And what i mean by faded out i mean white wash the buildings with white just alittle. This, in my opinion, gives the buildings a little atmosphere.
ps use either black or white to fade the buildings depending on what looks better. _________________ -Chase |

I like how it looked so far, the lights are nice. Agree with what Cwstone said about fading the more distant buildings. I think using the atmosphere's colour might work well, brownish/grey in this case.
I'll try to make a overpaint. |

Here is a paintover, I tried to build some atmosphere with blurring the far buildings, let the city light illuminate the dense air in the streets, and lit some clouds from below.
hope this helps a bit. |

Perhaps even some some street-lighted roadways intricately placed in the far backrounds on the sides to give it a bit more depth, or is it on an island? Paintover really spruced it up. =) |
