Saw Pat's post, and since people seem interested I thought I'd post my experiences too. I'm currently six months into a one year exchange in Seto, Japan (about an hour out of Nagoya). I'll try to get more pics up soon. We're behind a firewall so I have to go to another source to upload to my site, really sucks.  For now though, I put up a no-frills site on geocities if you're interested.

Here are some pics I took with my keitai (cellphone). As you may know cellphones are really popular here and everyone has at least one, if not two or three. You can take pictures, record voice, record movies, etc. Freakin' incredible...

Such fun we used to have with the Sijun Geographics. I should reignite that fire with a new edition. It'll be like connecting a full circle since it was my China pics thread that started it all. |
