Hi guys! ^^ Here's a piece I did last night in a few hours ... first completed painting in Painter 7. Was playing with colours and subtle textures. Dunno whether anybody else feels the same way, but version 7's watercolours scare me.



I dare ya to tell me the gender of the character.

i think its a woman.. or a little girl.. ^^..

I really appreciate the color work here... good work. The textures are nice and subtle also.

Doing something more with the clothing could have improved it a bit more I think.

very nice, I realy like those eyes ^^..
the hair looks, too... roundish .. and un hair like....
and that 3d thing on the neck, looks out of place...
looks like a girl to me.. mostly because of the shape of the eyes/eye brows. pluss the lips looks like a girls lips... (and the nose is smaller, like most girls)

gogan: Glad you like the colours. I was experimenting with colour theory for this piece ... there goes one vote for the female gender!

tom!: I wanted the eyes to be the point of attention ... so I guess I've succeeded. Hmm, yes, I do see your point on the hair and brooch ... but wouldn't slicked-back hair be flat like that?
