Wow! Go Francis!
I especially like the last one. Very witty, good lighting and a great story to it. the second one is neat, if a little flat in composition. I'd prefer it if the robot guy was in a little less perfect a profile. Also, the characters don't seem to be relating to each other. The first one is just wierd. You're off the anti-psychotics again, aren't you?

Nice work dude.
That last image rocks so hard, the way you handle lighting is seriously masterful.
Keep it up.

Hi Francis,
I like the images (as always), I like the way it's colored.
The first picture looks as if it was inspired by Gollem from the lotr.

Good morning .. I could have sworn I typed in a little blurb explaining what these were. Hm.
Some of the art director/concept artist types at Rockstar San Diego got together and created some themed images based on some passages from different science fiction books.
Phil - thanks, yeah I think the two figures in that middle one could have been engaged a little better. I wanted a bit more storytelling in the last two.
Rubber duck - right on. I happened to spot a picture of Georgie and thought "hm what a great subterranean worm creature he would make..."
Thanks for the comments you guys - looks like that third one was definitely the more successful of them. _________________ Francis Tsai

Wicked pics Francis - I'm gonna go for the third one like most people, but I also like that Katsuhiro Otomo-style old man's head on the fish-tits monster. I also love the expression on the model-building robot's face. |

I finally got to meet one Francis. Hey, it's great to finally see you in person.
Cool paintings by the way. Hopefully, we can work on something together down the road.

Rinaldo - I hear you; the lines will always be there, but I also want to be able to paint if I need to...
gez - cool man, thanks for the feedback. You still working on your "new style?"
Ed Lee - it was awesome finally meeting you too - your book was great stuff, thanks for sharing that with us. _________________ Francis Tsai
