I drew this a long long time ago. Due to family problems I havent been able to spend time painting at all. Fortunatly we're back on the right track!!
So here goes my first attempt in what seems like WAY TO LONG!
Al Ian Gypsie & Cat (for my little girl)
Took me about 2 hours all together to paint over the last 3 days or so. Not so happy with the background, and not happy at all with the border, all in all I love the Al Ian and cat. (Getting happier with teeth and reflections!)

It is darling - and I'm happy to hear your family is on the right track now and that you're able to paint again 
like I said.. its darling, I think perhaps a darker border might look better? Actually I think overall it looks fine - you don't want to bring too much distraction away from the main character.. therefore I don't know what to suggest with the background.. the only thing that seems odd to me is the eyes/glasses .. they just seem a bit flatter than the rest of the picture ?
