Duracel, not Darcel. Wink

Thx Smile i think the same. They are painted in a short time, but its a long process of learning behind them. Well, they are in between of a great learning process ... im quit interested in what i got next time. Wink
Well, and i have to thx all of those great artists around here helped me learning. If i remember my first pictures i presented here in the past ... Very Happy

And well, id like to see all of those artist here around in 10 years with pictures to compare ... would be a great thing. Smile

oDD, your last one reminds me a bit of Monet ... *search* h, ooops, its a Monet. Wink
http://free.bluemountain.com/eng3gifs/fineart/monet/monet.jpg
The link next time would be great.
Well, i think to "repaint" a Monet is not working, because as impressionist you have to paint the impression you get, not what its really looking like. Well, trying to repaint a work of realists, for example those Painters of the Hudson-River-School, would be a better choice.

Duracel: sorry i thought it was obvious (even the pic is called Monet.jpg Smile ).But you are right, I will post ref links in the future. Look at my link, my ref pic looked totally different :/
http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/monet/haystacks/matin.jpg

i don't know i thought it would be easier to paint something in impresionist style. But maybe something more realistic is a better choice. I like the works of Rembrandt and Bouguereau. My knowledge of traditional art is so little that i will have to do the search on "Hudson-River-School", but thanks sounds promising.

Anyway I thought about what CCow said about posting here and i feel stoopid - i'm prommising to post less in this thread Idea

I like the Fish, looks quite good!

oDD, no Problem, never looked at the file-name. Wink
And well, to paint something in impressive style perhaps is easier, but "repaint" in impressive style sounds only stupid.
But hey, repaint in impressive style is of course better than not to paint sanything. Wink

@duracel: like your latest outdoor scenes
fun to draw something without worrying about it too much. The heavy use of dirty gimmicks's an experiment...style for the sake of it, blah. Rolling Eyes

I visited a LAN this weekend and painted the following stuff in some larger breaks.
All without reference as (nearly)always.
Original-Size 1600*1200 - painted while 50%zoomed(=800*600)
Photoshop
