few notes: scanned the since-removed lineart in from my sketchbook yesterday, drew up the comic/script in about a half hour... the coloring took significantly longer. i was set on finishing tonight for a friend, and have yet to develop the patience to make any comics i do neat and/or refined.

true background story: the friend in the hat was recently told by a friend on the 'inside' that some military branch has his website on a watchlist for 'terrorist connections'... although it's really just a depressing tale of his daily life. on the other hand, the podium friend runs a far more 'politically active' site with far more provocative commentary. despite the fact that all of our sites are connected, the government somehow decided to focus on just that one guy. it's not the most interesting plot line, but it'll give some bit of reason to the otherwise meaningless script that follows:
