I did some new Wallpaper for my new Forum.

Normally, i hate lensflares too, but I think it works ok here.

yeah ditch the flare your pic looks extremly good dont make it cheap with a lens flere.

but I like the overall though.

I don't think a lensflare is cheep.
A photoshop Filter Lensflare is cheep, this a granny can do.
But you also can make your own lensflare with some layer, like i did in the pic.
I make Digital Art since Photoshop 3 or was it earlier?...
However, i see no point not to create lensflares.

I think it looks really good. Flare and all. There's nothing inherently wrong with the lens flare. It happens in real life, and it can create a very nice effect, as in your image. Just as long as you don't use the filter. As long as it's hand-made, why not? Your picture looks very nice, very warm and relaxing. Are the clouds a photo?

some used to be a photo, right, others are painted with a brush tool.
In the end i mixed them up and manipulated them once more.

This pic is not really new, i just did use it for a wallpaper.
Actually it was a BG in a Animation, you can see it at the end of Aquanox1.

as I sad earlier I think the picture is briliant but the lensflare just doesnt fit.

I say the lensflare is not disturbing!
I think it fits better then the Building(?) on the right.....

The forum design is AWESOME, I love it
