A fairly large collection of Sargent's paintings of Italy are going to be at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for more info check here:

The exhibit is up from Feb.8 through May 11th.

Damn, Molly, just perfect. I'm going back to the States on Feb 12th for a week or two. It's a short flight to LA from the Bay Area.

Are you going? Are the guys/gals from the last Sargent trip going? It doesn't look like this show is as big as the one we went to in Seattle?

If you guys are going again, let me know and I'll join up with you guys like last time.

Yeah, not as big as Seattle or Boston, but should be worth checking out if your in the area. (I'll be heading down, but not with the crew this time around.)
