| arg.. i just stumbled across some kind of protected music file. i'm only allowed to play it if i send microsoft a unique identifier for my computer. anyone experience this? |

| winamp4ever, but for those people that like organization(even over music match), they seem to prefer RealONE...the choice media player of satan himself while he does his duty in downloading communism. |

I only read about protected WMA files. Doesn't MS try to take out mp3 by pushing their WMA format? I mean wma is just a simplified mp3 with some anti-piracy code.. who would want to switch from mp3 to wma anyway?
