Hi-
I haven't posted around here yet, so I thought I'd start with something small. (I sure hope I do this right!)
This is one of the designs I did for a friend's website. The idea is a small robot that unfolds from a sphere. The finished will likely be built in shockwave 3d. This is my very first totally digital painting (from start to finish). It was done very quickly, just 45 min. Whaddya all think?

Thanks for your input.
Anyone else? I'm looking for obvious technique flaws I should (obviously) avoid. |

First off, you can deffinatly tell its supposed to be metal. Very solid concept of what it should be shaded like! The image itself seems a bit wierd. I'm not sure if its upposed to be cute or functional (like a real device/robot.) The orb guy sits kind of somewhere in between. Maybe exadurating it a bit more to make it more cute, or cutting away some of the cuteness to make it more "realistic" (if that word fits in fantasy art?).
All and all, very nice! _________________
